After being closed for several months for major renovations, Marine World Uminonakamichi re-opens on Wednesday, April 12. The park’s new theme is ‘Sea of Kyushu’, and will exhibit sea life from around Kyushu. Everything from the shape of the tanks, the movement of water and light, to the sound effects has been tailored to create the feeling of being in the animal’s natural environment.
