Hakata Hankyu completed large scale renovations on its first and third floors. The women’s clothing section has been slightly reduced, but there was an increase in the presence of overseas luxury fashion brands. The refurbishment aims to meet the demands of overseas tourists and visitors from all over Kyushu who are looking for high-end goods during their time in Hakata. Six new boutiques have opened in the department store, including Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, and Fendi on the first floor, and Rolex, Bvlgari, and Cartier on the third floor.
