Miyajima Shoyu, a soy sauce maker in Karatsu, has launched sales of a retorted curry mix made with the renowned Saga beef. Development of the product began last fall, and product uses more than a dozen spices to create an Indian-style flavor. They also utilized the expertise of the food product division of a curry company they purchased. In addition to the beef, every effort has been made to insure that the ingredients have been locally procured.
