The Saga City Council agreed on the 25th to provide 600 million yen to the cash-strapped entity operating the Saga City municipal buses. The condition of the allocation is that present service be maintained. The money will be provided over a four-year period starting in FY 2010. The objective is to reduce the capital shortfall ratio to less than 20%.
