Saibu Gas Co., Ltd. announced the establishment of their first overseas base in Singapore this autumn. The company is looking to commercialize liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the Asian region. Saibu Gas hopes to achieve growth by diversifying their business portfolio overseas, while domestic competition continues to intensify following the government’s decision to liberalize the Japanese gas market last year.
