Support Avispa Fukuoka at Their Last Home Game!

Be sure to go along and support Avispa Fukuoka in their final home game of the J2 season! Avispa will follow up on their recent home win against Shonan Bellmare with a victory against Matsumoto Yamaga FC, before going against Fagiano Okayama for their last match. With Bellmare already securing a return to the Meiji Yasuda J1 league as J2 champions, the race for second spot and automatic promotion is now down to three clubs. V-Varen Nagasaki currently lies in second place, with Nagoya Grampus in third, and Avispa fourth. The four teams placed third to sixth at the end of the season enter a knockout style play-off, with the winners returning to J1 alongside the top two teams from the regular season. Avispa already earned a shot at promotion with a top six finish guaranteed, but Avispa team manager Masami Ihara hopes that the team can avoid that stress and win promotion automatically. Avispa are behind Grampus on goal difference and just two points behind second-placed V-Varen. Victory in the last two games will see Avispa leapfrog over the other teams above if they can make up three goals on Grampus (or Grampus drop points), and if V-Varen lose or draw any of their final two games! It’s going down to the wire, so head to the Level 5 Stadium on Nov. 11 at 14:00 for an afternoon exciting soccer action! Source: Goal.com, 11/07/2017
