Municipal employees and housewives with children in Takeo, Saga Prefecture, interviewed older women in the area to compile a cookbook for traditional snacks. The book, called Tsukutte Tabetai: Obaachan no O-yatsu, has 13 recipes for homemade snacks. A year in the making, the 34-page recipe book will be published by the city and sell for 400 yen.
