The Fukuoka Tourist Information Center, located in the Lion Hiroba in Tenjin, will be renewed on Jun. 20. The new center is intended to be more user-friendly and be better equipped to deal with the recent increase in inbound tourists. It will provide tourist information for the whole of Japan, not just Fukuoka. The space will be 2.3 times bigger (103.7 m2), be staffed by knowledgeable staff who can offer guidance in English, Korean and Chinese, have a designated space for With The Kyushu pamphlets, and will have sofas and tablets for users to browse information in comfort.
