Southern Kyushu is currently experiencing intermittent and intense rainfall due to the approaching typhoon Talim (Typhoon no. 18). It is expected to make landfall in Kyushu by the evening of Sep. 16 (Sat.) . Heavy rains and strong winds can be expected in central areas of western Japan. As always, it is recommended that you stay informed about the typhoon and prepare for the possibility of transportation cancellations and other closures.
