At the end of November, Vietnam Airlines increased the number of return flights per week operating on its Fukuoka-Hanoi route from two to four. The move came after the company temporarily ran an increased service from February to March and August to September. The route has proven popular with tourists, business passengers, as well as people looking for a location to transit as they make their way onto countries further afield in Southeast Asia or Oceania. The head of Vietnam Airlines’ Fukuoka branch has reiterated that plans are in place to see the company start running seven return flights a week from Oct. 2018. Source: Fukuoka Keizai Web, 9/24/2017
