Yaskawa saw their sales rise by 17.6% to ¥448.5 billion, while operating profit increased by 87.9% to ¥54.1 billion. The figures have been recorded at a time when the industry has experienced a surge in orders placed on motors and robots. There has also been demand for capital investment aimed at supporting labor saving measures, as well as the automation of semiconductors and vehicles. The company, which has changed its accounting period from March to February, is expecting continued growth during the new fiscal year and hopes to see increased investment in the field of automation.
