Infinity Tenjin Area

Fukuoka's international bar and club scene expands with the opening of the foreign-owned nightclub, Infinity. Hawaiian owner Ryan La France chose Daimyo rather than Oyafukodori to attract a more sophisticated clientele. He combined his skills as a former hotel restaurant chef and interior designer to create a space where the music is hip, but not too loud, and where you can enjoy delicious dishes at reasonable prices. That's not to say this place is always mellow--on weekends Infinity becomes a bustling dance club with a thumping sound system. Ryan's Hawaiian roots are reflected in his fusion cuisine such as Fried Poke, a marinated fish with wakame and Thai sweet chili sauce, and the Kahlua Quesadilla, a twist on the Mexican standard with Hawaiian-style roasted pork. All dishes can be enjoyed with any cocktail, including a full range of premium liquors. The lounge is open to all on weekdays, and on weekends the purchase of a bottle entitles you and your friends to comfy seats, table service, ice and mixers until your bottle is empty.
