40,000 people attended this large-scale event celebrating the Kurume specialty Yakitori (skewers of grilled chicken) last year. Now in its 8th year, the theme this time is "Eat local", and chicken from Kurume farms will be getting skewered and grilled in all sorts of ways. Stalls close as soon as they sell out, so be sure to get there early!
