Goats to Ward Off Wild Boar in Nagasaki

As many as 50 towns in Nagasaki will start to use goats to ward off wild boar which destroy valuable farm crops. In 2010 in Nagasaki alone, there was ¥400 million damage recorded. Goats eat the grass that the wild boars like to hide in forcing the wild boars to find another home. The implementation cost for this year will be ¥2.5 million. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun
