Kyushu Flea Market Autumn 2014 Guide

Autumn is high season for antique fairs/flea markets in Kyushu. Antique fairs used to be somewhat exclusive to dealers and connoisseurs. They enjoyed wheeling and dealing over the items as professionals. However, things change these days at antique flea markets. Not only antique fans but also families visit antique fairs as if they are enjoying a picnic. The items vendors sell vary articles from traditional curios to watches, plastic models, fishing gears, and fancy sundries. Some antique flea markets also offer food stalls, and fun events for children such as balloon twisting. How about strolling around one of these antique fairs?

Below are details on seven flea markets taking place around Kyushu this autumn.
