ANA And JAL Plan to Play Part in Fukuoka Airport Management

Fukuoka Airport is going to be privatised in 2019 and a new company is to be formed by local and domestic companies to carry out its management. Two airline companies, ANA and JAL, are hoping to take part in the new management. If successful, it will be the first time in Japan that airline companies have joined to takeover an airport’s management. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism begins accepting applications for management in May 2017. Source: Saga Shinbun, 5 Jan. 2017
