First Tenjin Big Bang Project to Start

Fukuoka City has announced the first project to be carried out under the auspices of the Tenjin Big Bang Project. The first building will be the ‘Tenjin Business Center’ (provisional name), designed by Shohei Shigematsu, an architect from Kurume, now based in New York. It will be all glass, feature sharp angles, 16 stories tall and located on Meiji-dori. It will be completed in 2020 and let to businesses, restaurants and shops. Source: Yomiuri Online, Jan. 5 2017
