Last night Fukuoka Now staff attended a pre-open event for a brand new British-style pub located just steps from Kyudaigakkentoshi Station (near Kyushu University Itoshima Campus). The new pub is very spiffy with two large TV screens for sports, a counter bar, and table seating. As the name states, the theme is rugby and so it wasn’t any surprise to see the staff wearing rugby shirts. Plan to catch the next televised rugby match there with a pint of Guinness or Bass Pale Ale! The Fish n’ Chips was very tasty and we look forward to trying the rest of the pub food menu. No charge, and cash on delivery. Ideal for those on their way to Kyudai or Itoshima.
