High in the Sky- Party!

Summer is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than at our next big international party! We've got some really special entertainment lined up including a guest performance by Japan's top BeatBoxer and international YouTube sensation, "Daichi". There will also be a chocolate fountain and free hair and make-up by Revolucia, making it perfect for a girls' night out! We have a brand new venue, unlike anywhere else in Fukuoka, so if you've yet to attend a "Now Lounge" event – this is your chance! This event is called "High in the Sky" for a reason – the party will take place on the top two glass walled floors of the new Aqua Hakata Building, with spectacular nighttime views of Tenjin. Join us and hundreds of others for an evening to remember!

Q: Where is the new venue, Granada Suite?
A: It's Fukuoka's newest multi-purpose event space, located on the top two floors of the new Aqua Hakata Building, located on the opposite side of Meji-dori, and just across the river from the ACROS Building in Tenjin.


Q: Are advance tickets available?
A: Yes! Advance tickets mean no lineups - and if you buy 5 all together, the sixth is free! Access the following site and pay by credit card or PayPal. http://nowlounge.eventbrite.com


Q: How much are drinks after the first 2 included in the ticket price?
A: Heartland Beer (premium Japanese beer) will be ¥500/bottle, most cocktails just ¥500 too. Sparkling wine ¥1,000.


Q: What's the dress code?
A: It's a pretty fancy venue, so you'll want to put on your best threads. No flip flops.


Q: Is there a cloakroom?
A: Yes and it is free!


Q: What is the smoking policy?
A: Smoking is permitted on the open patio.


Q: Is there food?
A: Yes finger food is available from bar counters and servers walking around the party. There will also be a chocolate fountain and desserts. All at reasonable prices.


Q: What's the ratio of Japanese and foreign guests?
A: It varies from party to party, but is usually about 40% foreigners and 60% Japanese.


Q: Is re-entry to the party allowed?
A: Yes - your hand will be stamped when you enter. Show it and you can get back in.


Q: Do I need to speak English/Japanese?
A: No - just relax, have a few drinks and enjoy yourself!


Q: Is it stuffy, hot and smoky?
A: Thanks to plenty of space and an open air patio, no, it's neither hot nor stuffy.


Q: Is it ok to pass out leaflets or other promotional materials?
A: No. If you have something to promote, please contact the organizers in advance.


Q: Will there be any long, boring speeches?
A: No! Absolutely not!
