Restaurants and Bars Requested to Stop Serving Alcohol

To reduce the spread of the new coronavirus, the Fukuoka Prefecture will once again apply strict measures, including a request for restaurants to stop serving alcohol. The number of infected people in Kyushu yesterday was 434. The stringent measures begin today in Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City, which have busy shopping areas. In these areas, restaurants will be asked to close by 8 p.m. and stop serving alcohol. Fukuoka Prefecture will provide cooperation money and rent support to restaurants that respond to the request and offer support money to businesses selling alcohol. Source: NHK
