The tall, right handed pitcher Terry Doyle, has signed a one year deal with the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks for ¥35 million plus bonuses. At 192cm and 140kg, he is expected to be a powerful addition to the Hawks rotation. Doyle previously played for the Chicago White Sox in the minor leagues, but the triple-A pitcher was released by the Sox this month to join the Hawks.
