Last month a CNN television crew visited Fukuoka for the network’s first-ever report on our city. It was for a special edition of the their flagship travel show, “CNNgo” which airs in over 200 countries with many millions of viewers. The 24-minute report is titled CNNGO JAPAN FOOD SPECIAL and was shot in Tokyo, Kobe and Fukuoka. Fukuoka Now’s Editor-in-Chief, Nick Szasz led the crew on tasting tour of ramen, mizutaki, ikizukiri ika, and also visited yatai, the city’s central fish market, and the countryside of Itoshima.
