The America’s Cup Fukuoka 2016 – In Photos

On the weekend of 19 and 20 Nov 2016, the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series concluded in Fukuoka with two days of high-speed racing that saw Land Rover BAR emerge victorious after six closely fought races. Crowds of eager spectators swarmed to to Jigyohama beach to watch home team favourites Team Softbank Japan put on a fine show, winning the second race of the competition in true style.

The America’s Cup Organisers had this to say about the Fukuoka event:

Fukuoka Now were lucky enough to go behind the scenes across the weekend, meet some of the sailors and get up close and personal with the boats on the water. Here are some of our favourite pictures from the weekend. Enjoy!
