GERMAN ARRESTED FOR SMUGGLING STIMULANTS ::: A 53 year old German woman was arrested at Hakata Port after arriving from Busan, Korea on Jan 11, for narcotic importation. Authorities found two packs containing a total of two kilograms of stimulant drugs concealed in a secret compartment in her backpack. The woman told police that a Kenyan friend that she had met in Kenya asked her to take the items to Japan but she didn’t know they were drugs. The drugs seized have a street value of ¥160,000,000.
