Sake no Rakuichi – Self-serve Shochu!
If you’re a dedicated shochu drinker or just want to stock up on spirits for a party, then Rakuichi, a discount liquor shop located near the Nagahama Fish Market, is your kind of place. Fill up a PET bottle with wheat, rice or potato shochu straight from the barrel, for as little as ¥320 for 500 ml! Bring your own PET bottle or buy empty ones for ¥53 (500 ml) or ¥105 (2l). Bottles up to 5 liters are accepted. So why pay more for a fancy label — self-serve shochu is the way to go!
