The VJ-Bar

Perched 123 meters high on the 34th and 35th floors of the JAL Resort Sea Hawk Hotel, here’s an ideal spot to watch the sunset and dazzling city lights. A white, modern-style bar stretches below massive video screens on the first floor. Climb the stairs one flight and floor-to-ceiling windows become visible, accentuating the already spectacular view. Large screen showing abstract videos can be seen from both the booth and table seats. The DJ begins with softer sounds, including ambient music, then adjusts tempo and volume to the crowd. For a sure-fire way to make the evening even more special, order a “Diva Served with Sparkler” and enjoy the fireworks! In addition to cocktails, a good selection of beers, sake, shochu and wines are also on the menu. The VJ-Bar also offers a tempting menu of international foods brought in from the hotel’s other restaurants. We enjoyed the “creative” Sushi Set, Club House Sandwich, and Sweet and Sour Pork. Additionally, the dinner set, including four appetizers, seafood soup, fried shrimp, Chinese beef stew with roti, Chinese noodles, and dessert, is a particularly good deal for just 2,500yen. An excellent choice for tourists, but also recommended for locals looking for a special place to enjoy a special evening.
