Shane English School Kyushu, the Kyushu franchise of Shane English School Japan, is now inviting applications for a variety of teaching opportunities in its Fukuoka schools. We offer a base package of ¥250,000/month(plus benefits/bonuses) for full-time work, and an hourly salary of ¥2,800/hour for part-time positions(the minimum pay per shift is ¥5,600), for 2 hours of teaching. We have 44 lesson weeks per year, so this means we are able to offer an amazing 7 weeks of paid holidays to full-time workers. The classrooms are well resourced, and whilst the schedule may be busy, we enjoy a pleasant and relaxed workplace.

We will soon have 7 schools in convenient Fukuoka locations. We are also offering weekday mornings shifts at our Yakuin school(10:00-12:00).

Shane offers classes that are educational and enjoyable, an organised and easy to follow curriculum for all levels, in an environment where growth as an educator is encouraged and expected. Most lessons are 4-skill general English classes for children or adults. It is important that teachers are comfortable teaching children(potentially as young as two). You may also teach advanced, business and exam English classes. Initial training and detailed lesson guides are provided.

Further requirements:
1)Qualification in TEFL(CELTA/Trinity Tesol or equivalent) preferred
2)At least 2 years experience in TEFL
3)Genuine native speaker proficiency in English
4)Valid visa/permission to work
5)University degree
