Rainbow Bridges English Academy is searching for a native-speaking or equivalent English teacher for preschool and elementary school children.

Applicants must be available in Onojo and Kasuga (near train stations) for at least two weekdays between 4 and 6:30 pm. There is some flexibility in workdays.

Pay starts at 3,500 yen per class taught. Transportation allowance paid.

Ideal candidates will also have attention to detail, patience, enthusiasm, and at least one year of experience teaching small groups of children in Japan between 0 and 12 years old. Experience with a child-centered teaching approach and New Finding Out is preferred, though paid training will be provided.

Additional skills outside of English teaching are also welcome. We’re looking for teachers who bring multiple talents and can contribute to the academy during time outside the classroom.
