WAHAHA Japanese Language School is currently recruiting a translation professional specializing in the conversion of written Japanese to written English who is available to teach three classes between October 22 to November 09, Monday through Saturday.

This course is designed for foreign and Japanese students who wish to get into the translation profession and become translation professionals themselves. Class sizes are small, and each class will have between 3 to 5 students.

Additionally, the teacher will have full control over the scheduling of these classes within the above mentioned timeframe; classes may also be scheduled after 18:00.

Lastly, the applicant must be a native speaker of English.

[Responsibilities]

Each of the three lessons will last approximately 2-hours each and should teach students the following skills:

1. Lesson number 1: A general seminar about the translation profession in Japan.
2. Lesson number 2: Translation-in-practice with special emphasis on Japanese novels and short-stories.
3. Lesson number 3: Practical Application of translation techniques.

The teacher is expected to provide their own material for these lessons. However, any costs associated with said material will be borne by the school. Additionally, the school will support the teacher with any office-related needs, such as printing and copying said materials.

[Remuneration]

For each two-hour lesson, 10,000円 will be provided to the teacher.
