A medium sized English school located near Hakata Minami station in Nakagawa City requires part time English Teachers to join its roster of current teaching staff for late afternoon lessons.

The position is mainly geared towards teaching Kindergarten and Primary school aged Children and some Junior High School students.

Applicants would ideally:

· Be available from 3:30pm until 6:30pm, Tuesday to Friday and Saturdays, 10:00am-2:00pm. The position could lead to longer hours in the future for the right applicant.

· Have some experience teaching young children and teenagers, be familiar with the Let’s Go textbook series and Junior Eiken testing.

· Have an outgoing personality and be not afraid to dance and entertain kids during lessons!

· Be from a country where English is the official language.

· Have some conversational Japanese ability.

Remuneration would be ¥2,500-¥3,000 per hour depending on experience and a transport allowance would be paid.

The working atmosphere is fairly relaxed and would be a good opportunity for someone who is based long term in Fukuoka to join an independent organisation owned & run by foreigners.
