A festival of carefully selected Asian movies for audiences in Fukuoka and the world! This year will be the 30th year, and 22 works from 20 countries and regions will be screened, including 12 officially invited works such as new and popular films from Asia. This year’s special features include works by Thai director Anocha Suwichakornpong, a leader in art cinema. Enjoy an intelligent and multi-layered visual world, works by creators active in Fukuoka, and works set in Fukuoka. Most films will be shown for the first time in Japan.
