Opened in 2015 by the long-standing yakiniku restauranteers, the Keishu Group, Golden Beef specializes in dry aged beef. Although the Japanese love their homegrown marbled beef, red meat and dry-aged beef have been making inroads in Japan. Dry-aging, which requires carefully controlled temperature and relative humidity, yields tender and highly flavorful meat, with a totally different aroma. Golden Beef also has a standard yakiniku menu so you can do your own taste test. With nearly 70 wines in the cellar, you’re sure to find the perfect match for your dinner. The wine of the day starts at ¥500 a glass.
