Hungry Heaven was one of the first players in Fukuoka’s gourmet burger scene. With ties to a popular butcher in Tokyo, the shop uses a unique blend of a few choice cuts to create its all-beef patties, and the caramel coated buns are homemade. Each hamburger is painstakingly assembled by hand, and in total, there are about 40 types to choose from. The standard burgers come with Heaven Sauce—a tangy original BBQ sauce. Other burgers include the avocado (choose from mustard or tartar sauce) and teriyaki. If you are famished, then you’ll want to order the 550 g Hungry Heaven Special—two patties, thick-cut bacon, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese and more! Good luck trying to take a bite! At lunchtime, all burgers come with a drink. Sides and alcohol are available after 17:00. Hungry Heaven is a burger-lover’s heaven at any time of day or night.
