Koko Kobo & Cafe

Perched above the Nijo Parking Area along coastal Route 202, Koko produces original ceramics inside her own studio complete with a kiln. Two years ago she expanded, adding a cafe space in which visitors admire her pottery and other collectibles. Another piece of art is her daily special lunch (¥1,660 tax included). Using mostly locally sourced veggies, the centerpiece is a large healthy salad accompanied by a hearty homemade soup and warm bread. Served on Koko’s ceramics, it’s almost too pretty to eat! Finish up with her handmade sweets or smoothie – even better while enjoying the ocean view from her garden or under the covered terrace. The beach is just a few minutes away too!
