Daily Infection Count in Fukuoka Below Ten for The First Time in Three Weeks

Two months have passed since Fukuoka Prefecture announced the first confirmed case of COVID-19 infection, and the cumulative total of confirmed infections now stands at 520. On April 20, The prefecture announced two more confirmed infections and the twelfth death linked to the virus. On the bright side, it was the first time over the past three weeks that the prefecture saw a daily number of below ten. However, a large number of daily cases are still being reported nationwide, including a growing number of cases in other areas of Kyushu.
