Four New Infections Recorded in Fukuoka Prefecture

On May 24, four more confirmed cases of the new coronavirus infections were found in Fukuoka Prefecture. Three of the new cases involve Kitakyushu residents, including a man in his eighties who tested positive after his death. He was transported to a hospital after suffering from cardiac arrest. The other case involves a Fukuoka City resident in her fifties who was re-infected with the virus. The cumulative total for the prefecture has reached 666, while 26 deaths have been linked to the disease.
