Fukuoka Prefectural Library Introduces E-library System

Fukuoka Prefectural Library introduced KinoDen, an e-library service, as of Oct. 15. Registered-user cardholders can access approximately 240 titles (mainly technical books and dictionaries. Novels are not include as of now) from their PC, smartphones, tablets, and other devices. One user can view each book at a time, but reservations are not required. The introduction of the new service is related to social needs amidst the spread of the new coronavirus. Fukuoka City is also preparing to open its e-library in 2021.
