Fukuoka Prefecture Discontinues Use of Hanko For 5,000 Procedures

Fukuoka Prefecture prepares to discontinue the use of personal hanko seals for approximately five thousand procedures. Amongst those are application forms of personal and business subsidy programs and other paperwork not processed under national laws. No-hanko practices will begin for some items as early as December. The prefecture continues to review the needs for hanko for the remaining 1,000 procedures. Source: NHK
