Fukuoka Prefecture Medical Association Voices Concern Over GO TO campaign

The Fukuoka Prefecture Medical Association held a press conference on July 15, where they explained their opinion of the national ‘Go To Campaign.’ While the association recognized such a project’s economic importance, it also hopes people will refrain from making trips or take extra precautions to avoid virus infection. The vice president, Yasuhiro Tsutsumi, also expressed his worries over the possible occurrence of a serious social situation in Fukuoka, reflecting the declaration of the highest alert in Tokyo.
