Fukuoka Prefecture Relaxes Event Regulations

As of July 10, Fukuoka Prefecture relaxed its coronavirus-linked rules for events. Music concerts, exhibitions, and pro-sport events can now host up to 5,000 people at indoor and outdoor venues. At the same time, organizers of events involving 1,000 people or more are asked to consult the prefecture’s task team (092-643-3342) in advance. Other outdoor festivals (including matsuri, large-scale music concert and else) that could prompt many travelers from outer areas and have difficulty recording the number of visitors remain asked to consider cancelation.
