JR Kyushu announced an agreement with JR West to allow the mutual use of contactless payment cards for each other’s lines. The JR Kyushu card is called Sugoca, while the JR West card is called Ikoka. JR Kyushu also announced it would be the first company in the JR group to offer a point service for card use next February.
