Kyushu University Hospital Approved For Childrens’ Heart Transplants

Kyushu University Hospital was designated as the nation’s sixth medical facility for child heart transplants. A joint committee of societies for transplantation approved the hospital on May 26, valuing its coordination between cardiovascular surgeons and pediatrics highly. The hospital has become the first Kyushu facility that can conduct heart transplants for patients of ten years old or under. Source: MediaFax
