Toyota Motor Kyushu, Inc. announced the introduction of 110 electric kickboards to its Miyata Factory by late-August. In collaboration with a Fukuoka-based startup, Mobby Ride Inc. The project aims to create quicker access inside the 113-hectare factory site as an alternative to conventional bus and on-foot transportations. Riding an e-scooter on public streets requires a license, however inside the factory grounds, workers who took a training course will be able to use them. Sources: Asahi
