The festival runs from (8/13~14, 10:00 ~ 21:00) at Kurume Hyakunen Park. It aims to promote Kurume, which is known as the birthplace of many famous Japanese musicians. Stage events include an amature band contest, Japanese drumming, and dance stages, as well as professional musician performances. Many international consulate offices located in Fukuoka are participating in the event, offering a variety of food booths. The Chikugo area dance studio also performs on both days of the festival. Entry is free.
