For the past three years, the MAT (Modern Architecture Tour) Fukuoka event has introduced some of the great works of Fukuoka to citizens and visitors- and this year, they’re doing it for the kids! Over two days (8/25~26) Kids MAT will take groups of child/parent pairs on city tours of Fukuoka. A trained guide will teach the kids about the town history, and about the many interesting and important buildings of Fukuoka. It’s a fun and educational summer activity, and a rare and unique opportunity to teach our younger generations to appreciate Fukuoka’s rich architectural landscape!
