For the first time in Fukuoka, performance artist Tadashi Nakamura will create surreal stuffed toys by hand, whilst dressed in the disguise of “Mrs. Mary” the goat. The exhibition/live performance is called “Mrs. Mary-go-round”, and is presented across Japan by art/design shop H.P. Deco. Taiwan-born, Tokyo-based Nakamura has been performing his signature style of art, dressed in a goat’s mask, since his debut exhibition in 2008 “Mary’s Odd Fruits”. His concept combines amusement and art and makes for a very original spectacle. Watch the kitschy, surreal animals being produced before your eyes by a live goat artist!
