Fukuoka City Zoological Garden will be open until 21:00 every Saturday of August for the annual summer event “Night Zoo”. Enjoy the beautiful illuminations at the Zoological Garden and take the chance to observe nocturnal animals in their element. Resident zoo keepers will also be on hand to give talks about the animals at special “Zoo Spots” (schedule available online). Don’t forget to visit the adjoining Botanical Garden to witness the unique sight of nocturnal flowers that bloom only at night!
