The town will build a new social services facility to create jobs and establish a support group comprised of local townspeople and stakeholders. On Apr. 1 Taragi Town Hall began accepting applications for a part-time “village supporter” to live in Tsukigi. The village supporter’s primary task is to entice people to relocate to the Tsukigi. A monthly salary of up to ¥400,000 yen will be provided, and the town hall will provide a house and a vehicle free of charge. Applicants should be between the ages of 30 and 45 and will begin work in July. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun, Apr. 19
</oembed>
