It’s the first time for Miyazaki Prefecture to offer night golf. For now, the night games are only available for nine half-round holes, but there are plans to extend game hours for all eighteen holes starting mid September. Night golf offers a cooler, more comfortable game minus worries of sunburn; a pleasant breeze drifts over the green from the beach. Players can also get a better view of their golf ball flying through the air as it contrasts against the dark night’s sky - another advantage of night golf! 287 lights in place ensure that the balls are easy to find, unless they land in the pine forest. There are some special night rules/penalties - so check before you start!
