<\/p>\nTake a glimpse into the mind of the renowned French writer, lyricist, composer, and singer Pierre Barouh (1934~2016). A series of screenings will be shown to mark the one year passing of this musical icon and to celebrate Saravah, the jazz label founded by Barouh in 1965. Barouh was a fan of the Japanese term \u201cichi-go ichi-e\u201d, an idiom that describes the significance of treasuring interactions with others. Videos, handwritten poetry, and musical scores providing insight into Barouh\u2019s musical philosophy (which stressed the importance of self-expression over the pursuit of profit) will also be in exhibition. The gallery space will also serve as a cafe, facilitating exchange and providing visitors the chance to meet new people.<\/p>\n
